Interior finishing
Interior walls
In finishing the interior walls, we use two different wall covering materials in the living room, corridor and bedroom, which gives the customer the opportunity to choose a suitable option, taking into account the exterior and interior environment of the house and the price.
- Gypsum board primed and 2x tinted (standard solution)
- Cross-laminated plywood spruce that can be oiled or varnished
Cross plywood glulam plywood, 19 x 625 x 2500 mm
Cross-ply wood is a material somewhat analogous to plywood, consisting of an odd number of layers of wood in which the direction of the fibers in adjacent layers is perpendicular to each other. Instead of veneer, the layers have wooden slats glued or unglued together. Thanks to the perpendicular layers of wood, the properties of the cross-ply wood are uniform on a flat surface, no matter which edge is loaded.
The cross-layers provide a locking effect, which ensures very good dimensional stability of the board in the event of changes in humidity and significantly reduces the negative effects of wood drying.
The interior walls in damp rooms have been pre-treated with the Finnish manufacturer Kiiltö waterproofing system and later tiled with 200x600mm white ceramic plate.
